Salts Mill is open Weds – Sun. We're closed Mon and Tues. Open most bank holiday Mondays. We're always closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Weds – Fri & bank hols: breakfast 10-11, lunch 11:45-3:30, close 4:30pm. Drinks, cakes & toasted items sold throughout.

Sat & Sun: breakfast 9:30-10:45, lunch 11:45-3:30, close 4:30. Drinks, cakes and toasted items sold throughout.

Café in to the Opera serves cakes, sandwiches and light bites. Last orders 2.45pm. The café is walk-in only, we don't take reservations.

October Half Term

Monday 26th October – OPEN

Tuesday 27th October – OPEN

Note: Salts Diner will be open on October 26th and 27th but the Café will be closed.

Christmas Holidays

Monday 21st December – OPEN

Tuesday 22nd December – Thursday 24th December – OPEN. Note early closing 4pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th.

Christmas Day Friday December 25th – CLOSED

Boxing Day Saturday December 26th – CLOSED

Sunday 27th December – OPEN

Monday 28th December through to Thursday 31st December – OPEN, early closing 4pm New Year's Eve

New Year's Day Friday 1st January 2027 – CLOSED

Saturday 2nd January – OPEN

Sunday 3rd January – OPEN

Monday 4th January and Tuesday 5th January – CLOSED

Normal Wednesday – Sunday opening hours resume from Wednesday January 6th 2027.

Dogs

Guide dogs & assistance dogs are of course most welcome. Small dogs, carried by their owners, can enter the galleries and shops but not restaurants. Dogs which can't be carried aren't allowed.
